In Gorinchem I have a tiny studio in an old blacksmith shop. You can find me there almost every day. What started as a hobby gradually became my daily activity.

I have always admired artists and enjoy many types of art.

When I started painting I had no idea what I wanted to specialize in, because everything was new and challenging. After various landscapes, animals and portraits I became fascinated by still lifes.

All the different materials and textures intrigued me. After trying different techniques, I finally decided with oilpaint on panel.

At the moment I am working on a series of paintings that connect the Netherlands and South Korea.

This will be an adventure in itself.
